RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide timely and in-depth sector and stock research reports on frequent basis

Our client is a large MNC that is looking for an IT Business Manager.  The IT Business Manager is responsible for financial analysis, process management and administration. 

 KEY SKILLS:

  • Accounting and financial analysis preferably in cost accounting areas.

DIRECT RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

  • Preparation of financial and management information regarding technology costs, budgets, and resources with explanation of variances of Actual and Forecast to Plan.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years (minimum) financial planning and management experience in a financial or technology industry environment, preferably with top tier companies.
  • Must have outstanding organizational and communication skills.  The ability to explain and teach non-financial IT professionals financial and budgeting concepts is a plus.  Ability to develop and conduct presentations for all levels, including executive management.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting and modeling of IT ops and projects.  Ability to analyze personnel costs, operating costs, capital spend, cost divers and allocation of costs.
  • Experience and familiarity with outsourcing strategies preferred.
  • University degree in business or technology management; MBA and/or CPA highly desirable.

Solution Architect Director – Data Center Facilities

 

This position will require up to 50% regional and international travel. This leadership role will be focused on extending our capabilities and working on ground breaking, innovative service opportunities for end-to-end optimization of enterprise infrastructure solutions, with particular focus and depth in data center facilities assessment, conceptual design, design/build, and commissioning.

 

Maintain broad based technical and solutions knowledge in key data center infrastructure optimization and solution areas:

  • Data Center strategy, capacity, migration/consolidation
  • Platform Optimization: virtualization (VMware, MSFT, Xen, etc); OS:Windows/Linux; platform migration: Unix to Linux, etc.
  • Data Management:  storage optimization, consolidation, data protection
  • Data Center Facilities Efficiency:  design/layout, power and cooling, energy efficiency, operations best practices.
  • Services Management:  ITIL v3 processes, best practices; virtualization/cloud  transformation
  • Network Optimization
  • Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery

 

Serve as a recognized subject matter expert and thought leader with deep expertise in data center facility optimization.  This would include ability to lead large projects for Data Center Strategy, Capacity Planning, Facilities Modeling, Power and Thermal Modeling, Energy Efficiency, High Density Computing, Conceptual Design, Engineering Design, DC Construction/Fit Out, Operational Processes, and Commissioning.  Will also be able to orchestrate and lead pre-sales and delivery of holistic data center optimization and transformation solutions for large enterprise customers.  Successful candidate will have performed numerous data center facilities plans, assessments, designs, and build outs including program/project management oversight.  Recent experience should include work on high density DC solutions for virtualization/cloud computing infrastructure.  Proven experience in leading the sale and delivery of assessment services, development of business cases, design solution architecture, and multi-phased, complex migration programs that address technology, people/organization, and process change.

 

Work closely with sales to assist in business development and pre-sales opportunities for consulting-led solutions.  Design and implement infrastructure solutions for early adopter and strategic  customers. Assist in identifying new and improved consulting methods, approaches, tools, templates and delivery guides.  Maintain contact and build relationship with customer executives and lead architects to ensure continual customer satisfaction.
