Senior Project Manager - Treasury Services
Hong Kong SAR
This is a senior management position responsible for the delivery of technology solutions to support the highly dynamic business needs of Treasury Services. The key products include cash management, payments & collections and clearing business. Leadership and management of technology’s roadmap and strategy.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for driving charter development, objectives and plans
  • Manages multiple projects of significant complexity, manages complex interdependencies across projects, identifying critical, high pay-off strategies, and prioritizing team efforts accordingly.
  • Partnership with Senior Business Heads to drive the strategy and execution of the technology roadmap.
  • Management of budget and financials related to Treasury Services Technology agenda
  • People and Team Management including career management, coaching and mentoring of specific resources in the team, recruitment and resource strategies (e.g. location strategies)
  • Ensures continuous improvement through analyzing business function and operations
  • Reviews and co-ordinates a consistent set of quality principles and processes and ensure change control
  • Sponsors quality management initiatives, ensuring standards are met
  • Management and reporting of key projects
  • Vendor management

REQUIREMENTS
  • College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 10 years of IT Project / Program Management experience, or relevant business or team leadership
  • Project/strategic planning and business background with in depth understanding of assigned areas of responsibility
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies, functions and industries to facilitate working with the management team and to assist in the understanding of people focused issues in the workplace.
  • Requires general knowledge of two or more technology disciplines and expert level knowledge of project management methodology and tools.
  • PMI certification or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience partnering with senior business head on the technology agenda
  • Strong people management experience
  • Familiarity with cash management business preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain product management strategy for existing and new Global Trade & Supply Chain products and Solutions across Asia

  • Actively support business development efforts, by continually aligning our trade solutions and platforms to help achieve business growth targets on a Pan Asia basis

  • Serve as product capabilities expert and technical trade product expert including areas of risk for assigned product.

  • Manage product through successful partnerships with sales, delivery, and support business partners to drive profitable growth and improve while enforcing risk discipline

  • Create and drive product ideas specific to Asia end-to-end (including pricing capabilities)

  • Complete competitive analysis and provide recommendations for existing trade and supply chain products and solutions.

  • Collaborate with the global product management and regional product delivery teams on trade pricing to ensure our competitive offering in market as well be in line with our governance framework

  • Provide segment solutions content for training materials and to provide sales with tools to support their revenue growth goals

  • May conduct training sessions as appropriate and is a centralized contact for Trade content expertise

  • Support the complex, specialized trade needs as a senior deal team member in large MNC/Corp and FI trade finance deals

  • Review opportunities and aggressively look to roll out global partnership arrangements for the benefit of Asia trade needs

  • Help advance the pipeline and manage

  • Trade specific programmes on an intra – regional basis.

  • Assist with the sales process/deal flow and business growth.

  • May also partner or design any new programs for the region

  • Work closely with Credit, Operational, Compliance and Legal risk partners to ensure concerns are proactively addressed for new and existing solutions.

  • Navigate in-country regulatory and compliance changes in order to evaluate and assess impact to the trade and supply chain solutions products

  • Co-ordinate closely with Global Product Management (US and International) teams to monitor the health or existing products and with Global Innovation and Development teams for new products

  • Ensure Segment specific product launches are successful


REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of Trade/supply chain product experience working for either bank or financial institution and with experience in payments

  • Structured and organized with a track record in delivering strategic projects which required liaison with individuals at different levels within the organization Proven strategic and analytical abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin (optional)

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills Strong PC skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong understanding of the full product management lifecycle and a proven ability to deliver in a highly matrixed organization

Our client, an International Bank is looking for a high calibre to join the professional team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform annual review and new credit application (including credit proposals, financial analysis and cash flow projection) for the large local Corporate names, Global Multinational names and some selective Financial Institutions in Hong Kong and China.
  • Safeguard the Bank's interest and reputation by active participation in the facility documentation process to ensure strict compliance with all internal/external regulatory requirements.
  • Manage post approval recording / monitoring and general risk portfolio management and identify potential credit problems, etc.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitors' moves, and be able to write up regular industry analysis plus ad hoc industry reviews

REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement and review local HR policies and procedures and ensure that these are in line with regional guidelines, meet local regulatory requirements and are in line with market practic
  • Manage the provision of HR services individually as well as through the team.  These are envisaged to specifically include recruitment, selection, placement, orientation, training, employee counseling, career planning, replacement, termination, employees’ activities, conditions of employment, and compensation and benefits.
  • Advise, support and work closely with management and the staff, Regional Human Resources with respect to organizational changes (restructuring), staffing requirement, staff development and training. 
  • Advise management regarding employee relations, workers councils and unions (if any). Assist line managers in providing employees with a satisfactory working environment, and promoting harmonious relationships between them.
  • Coordinate all HR-related procedural activities which include job descriptions, staff appraisal, salary payment, compensation process, social security contributions (if any), inland revenue requirement, benefit administration and terms of employment.
  • Maintain a robust HR information system in order to be used as the basis for budgets, payroll and compensation review.
  • Ensure compliance and submission of all requisite reports to local regulators relating to human resources.
  • Manage the HR function in HK & Greater China.
